Weight Loss Hypnotherapy in Wolverhampton.

At Midland Therapy Services we do not believe in or encourage dieting. A diet suggests a strict regime of calorie counting, deprivation and commitment. This is not a mindset that appeals to anyone and so often people lose weight on a diet only to pile it all back on once they resume ‘normal’ habits.

Whilst we will use hypnotherapy techniques to deal with cravings and emotional eating, our focus is very much on ‘thinking like a thin person’. It’s this change in mindset that brings results. This focus on a natural, permanent change in lifestyle where unhealthy, calorie laden foods no longer appeal creates a shift in thinking patterns. Our focus is also very much on enabling the client to approach food and exercise differently; from a place where this new lifestyle is enjoyable and makes you feel good.

These new ways of approaching a new lifestyle make losing weight far easier and more effective. My background as a nutritional advisor means I’m passionate about seeing people lead a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle. Food is fuel and the better fuelled we are the better we function, feel and look. That brief moment of pleasure on the tongue leads many into a lifetime of misery, low self-esteem and serious health issues. But what if that brief moment of pleasure was a healthy, low calorie food – what if you became indifferent to fattening foods?

It’s all about a change in lifestyle and hypnotherapy can help create new neural pathways to support a new you that automatically chooses to eat healthily and feel motivated. Hypnotherapy can be used to reduce cravings for fattening foods and increase motivation to lead a healthy lifestyle – eating well and exercising.

In hypnotherapy sessions for weight loss at our Wolverhampton office, Midland Therapy Services look at emotional eating and other reasons people might choose unhealthy foods. We focus on the thoughts the client has around food and look deeper into the reasons for not choosing a healthier lifestyle. Combining these conscious and subconscious interventions creates a new way of living well, easily.
